Baby Naming

A name giving ceremony can be anything you want it to be.  I can tell the story of your baby’s arrival (not literally) and the significance of their name. I can add rituals and be as creative as you’d like to be.  You can also involve family members to share readings or songs, have traditions such as Godparents, or the more modern term of life guardian, or supporting adult.

Naming ceremonies can happen any time, any date and at a location of your choosing.  You may wish to mark this special ceremony on the occasion of your child’s First Birthday, within weeks of their arrival, on you anniversary, or at any time that is significant for your family.

A baby naming ceremony can be a relaxed, simple affair or a traditional ceremony which honours your family, your family history and the significance of the arrival of the child into your family.

Regardless of the way you would like the naming ceremony to be conducted it will be so very special and will be the first of many special moments in your child’s life.
